We are so excited you've decided to join us!

NAMLE is striving for the the greatest possible impact, and our momentum is growing
Our goal is to build this movement in education, rooted in our collective passion for expanding the practice of media literacy around the U.S. and beyond. We need to reach every corner of the education and media spheres, and your involvement will help get us there.

Together, NAMLE members and partners weave together a diverse network of educators, scholars, activists, media makers, students, and community advocates, all committed to advancing media literacy education as the new vision of literacy in the 21st century.

NAMLE helps individuals of all ages develop the habits of inquiry and skills of expression they need to be critical thinkers, effective communicators, and active citizens in today's mediated world.

Our movement proves media literacy is an essential part of learning, in and out of school.

We fight for every school in the U.S. to integrate media literacy education across its curriculum. We want everyone to gain a better understanding of media's impact on our choices and how we envision the future.

NAMLE encourages growth in media literacy education by providing national leadership, advocacy, networking, and information exchange

This extension site to NAMLE's main website is specifically for members. At NAMLE.net you'll also find organizational info, news, resources, and features related to the national media literacy community. Everyone in the NAMLE Network will have access to more resources, more connections, and more opportunities.
